Clean Break Hotline
call for Registration and Information
It was 8 years ago that Asher Levine came up with the concept of a sober spring break for high school and college students in recovery called “Clean Break”.
Since the first event in 2009, more than 1,000 students from 80 high schools and 20 universities have attended a 1 day festival in Nashville, TN or a week long trip on a beach in Florida.
The program has received national attention in the NY Times, The Toronto Star, Fox 13 – Tampa Bay, Chicago Tribune and ABC News NightLine. Our supporters include: non-profit foundations, treatment providers, multi-platinum recording artist, national corporations and universities.
A week at Clean Break provides a solution for the college student in recovery who would have to choose between isolating on an empty campus or tagging along with friends who are not sober and hoping they don’t use drugs or alcohol. Clean Break is an affordable peer based recovery event for college students during Spring Break, that creates new relationships, supports recovery, provides new ideas for sober fun, all in a safe group setting.
